I am currently formulating a module for 3rd year undergraduates which is entitled Youth, Education and Society. It examines the development of youth culture, the 'teenager' and the risk factors of alcohol, drugs and crime that can affect learning. Can anybody suggest any books that might be suitable that are up to date?

I created and now lead a 3rd year module called 'Health and Movement in Young Children' that has proven very popular. It incorporates 'Research on Yoga in Education' and 'Fundamental Movement Skills' (an Australian movement programme). If anyone else is leading 'health' modules I would be interested in connecting with them to share ideas...
I run a very popular module for 3rd Years called 'Youth disaffection, Education and Society'. There's plenty of up to date and interesting texts once you start furtling around.
